When it comes to vivid colors, a unique design, and fun VIBES, Leah & Joe’s creative wedding at Marathon Music Works takes the cake. As a couple who has great appreciation for aesthetics, they incorporated that passion into their wedding day with bright, quirky florals from LMA Designs, mismatched blue goblets on the tables, distillery barrels from Joe’s distillery, bold linens, and vintage accents.
Jessie and Chadd’s marriage was not only between them, but about each of their kids making it all that much more special. They chose to have a family focused wedding with their children at the forefront of the occasion. With approximately 40 guests in attendance, they exchanged vows which included their four little ones, had Teddy Bear Mobile in attendance, and got to bounce around the soft play zone thanks to Tots Aloud.
Think you can’t incorporate a spring design into a winter aesthetic? Think again! With help from Amy & I Designs, Sara and Jacob were able to take their magnolia inspired wedding and transform it into a late fall/early winter design that included navy blues, muted browns, and velvet textures. The cohesive look came with no lack of the couples favorite Magnolia blooms which lit up the space of Frist Learning Center Courtyard where the two celebrated their love with friends and family. As if the style and decor weren’t enough to make you fall in love, the elegant imagery from John Myers Photography is the cherry on top of the cake!
If you ever needed a sign that a destination wedding is a great idea, consider Madison and Billy’s wedding at Sandals Grande St. Lucian it! With help from Carlie at 2 Travel Anywhere, the two escaped the city and headed to the beach to have the most gorgeous wedding day. Their ceremony was held in an over water chapel with a dreamy garden reception post-nuptials.
A little bit of this, a little bit of that! Ella and Connor combined the most beautifully unique elements to create a theme of their own for their whimsy wedding at The Estate at Cherokee Dock. The grand allure of the venue was complete with a soft color palette, bohemian florals, modern fonts, and a plethora of textures, and one heck of a celebration!
Never have we ever seen an English garden inspired wedding quite like Sidney and Thomas’ celebration! OZARI couldn’t have been more perfect of a setting for their soiree and was a terrific foundation for the details. What started as a challenging task turned into a stunning design thanks to the mother of the bride Teri, who is the owner of Mansion and Marsh. Teri was able to take Sidney’s love of gardening and turn it into the perfect wedding aesthetic. The space – indoors and out — was decked out with the most beautiful blooms, soft yet vibrant color, and vintage accents.
We’re so happy that intimate weddings are here to stay! Otherwise we would’ve missed the chance to gush at Rachel and Nic’s romantic micro wedding at Cheekwood Estate & Gardens! Under the Wisteria Arbor of the venue, these two tied the knot before their sweet reception with family. From their timeless apparel to the swoon-worthy features, the aesthetic was the perfect blend of classic and elegant. Just wait until you see the BEAUTIFUL tablescapes, the scenic ceremony, and the heartfelt moments.
The quirks and color of Mallory and Adam’s whimsical courtyard wedding are the very reasons that make it magical. Friends and family were invited to The Reserve at Fat Bottom Brewing Co. to celebrate their love. The two exchanged vows under the sun of the outdoors with Mallory’s ladies donning an array of colorful gowns, with Adam’s wedding party complementing their whimsy apparel with floral print ties. Following their ceremony, everyone went indoors for an upbeat reception. Mismatched linen napkins at each place setting added a quirky sense of style, with vibrant floral arrangements from LMA Designs tied the whole aesthetic together beautifully!
Soft and charming, Morgan & Austin’s blush pink wedding at The Barn at Fiddle Dee Farms is the the perfect blend of rustic and romantic. While the pretty shades of pink were stars of the show, sage green and pops of purple were woven into the design too. They made use of the entire venue by uniting in an outdoor ceremony followed by a reception indoors. And although the guest list wasn’t small, they made sure everyone that there was a level of intimacy and that everyone that attended felt the love.
A Nashville wedding and good music go together like tea and biscuits. But this minimalist 14TENN wedding with epic music takes the cake! Grace and Maddie’s celebration was the perfect blend of modernity, simplicity, and a FUN time! We instantly knew their chemistry was one for the books after seeing their first look photos. The moments documented by Meghan Melia Photography shined bright with the details leaving their own spark too! The clean color palette against the industrial aesthetic of the venue is as romantic as you can imagine in addition to having the perfect area for dancing the night away.
Special thanks to all those who contributed to the blog features this year! We adore sharing the talents of our local industry professionals and showing off your beautiful weddings. We can’t wait to see what 2023 has in store!
