Meet Nashville Bride Guide’s Owner + Editor, Alyssa DiCicco
Alyssa DiCicco is the owner and voice behind Nashville Bride Guide, the go-to online publication showcasing weddings, engagements, styled shoots, vendor spotlights, and expert advice across Middle Tennessee. She is also the creator and host of The Wedding Reporter Podcast, where she interviews influencers, celebrities, and wedding pros about their love stories, engagements, and wedding-day experiences.
With a background in marketing and design, Alyssa began her career in the wedding industry as the Marketing & Design Manager for a local rental company before taking ownership of the blog in 2016 (formerly Ashley’s Bride Guide). Since then, she has worked with national brands such as David’s Bridal, Sandals, Pottery Barn, Williams Sonoma, Azazie, and Basic Invite, while also collaborating with Nashville’s most talented wedding vendors. Her wedding expertise has also been featured on Today in Nashville, Local on 2, and Talk of the Town.
Beyond publishing, Alyssa is a seasoned event host and emcee. She has served as the backstage emcee for the Nashville TEDx Women’s Conference and Artist Mind Event, interviewing TEDx speakers ranging from brain doctors to pop legend Debbie Gibson. She has also emceed live events including the Love & Luxe Bridal Show and An Evening with Curtsy Ballroom, and frequently hosts live podcast interviews with newly engaged and married celebrities. Past podcast guests include Pia Toscano (American Idol), Carlyle Thornton (Influencer), Leah Langley (ellenelle Bridal Fashion Designer), and Morgan Mizell (World Champion Ballroom Dance Instructor). Virtually, Alyssa has welcomed Hannah Brown (The Bachelorette), John Schneider (Dukes of Hazzard), Mario Adrion (Comedian), Chris Thompson (Former NFL player), and Elizabeth Weber (Love Island S1 Winner), among many others.
At the heart of Alyssa’s work is her passion for storytelling—spotlighting the journeys of couples and the creativity of wedding professionals, all while connecting people through authentic conversation. She also coordinates weddings at her church in Nashville, giving her an even deeper connection to couples in their most meaningful moments.
Alyssa lives in Franklin, TN with her husband and two kids. Her daughter is a competitive gymnast, her son is an aspiring track star, and together they love scootering around St. Pete Beach, FL. When she’s not working weddings or hosting events, you’ll find her enjoying Zumba, figure skating, girls’ trips, or backstage at concerts with her husband, a tour manager for various bands.
