From Meghan of Rippavilla Plantation: Rippavilla Plantation, the location of this styled shoot, is a historical home located in Spring Hill, Tennessee. The home was completed in 1855 and therefore, this house museum features antiques, artwork and other pieces from the late 19th century. There is, however, one exception. Rippavilla’s sunroom was added onto the west facing side in the 1920s when the home’s second owner moved in. As a result, this sunroom is interpreted as if it is the 1920s – complete with Art Deco details and a working vitrola! It is this gorgeous space that served as the inspiration for the styled shoot.
From Meghan of Rippavilla Plantation: We were able to find vintage and antique details from a vintage furniture rental company as well as accessories from Rippavilla’s own collection. Additionally, we borrowed gorgeous vintage jewelry for the shoot – a 1920s cocktail ring and 1890s gold bracelet.
From Meghan of Rippavilla Plantation: We embraced a bold, deep color palette for the shoot and added luxurious details such as velvet linens, velvet touches on the groom’s jacket, layers of china and edible gold flakes in the cocktails. This dramatic look was the perfect contrast for the brightly lit sunroom.
These details are perfection! Rippavilla Plantation was the perfect venue for this bold emerald styled shoot! Thanks so much for sharing all these beautiful details, Meghan!
