With twinkling, modern yet cozy decor, and a gleaming love William and Breanna’s winter wedding day was a dream. From warm blankets for guests during the ceremony and hot chocolate bar during the reception, to the pine cones and hanging bistro lights, their day was the epitome of romantic. Meghan Melia Photography traveled to Quinney Oaks Plantation in Georgia to capture the magic and you’re in for a real treat with all these delightful photos below!
Tell us about your engagement!
Breanna: Will proposed at our home, surrounded by 100 tea lights while playing my favorite song, Wait by M83. He got down on one knee and asked, “will you let me make you happy forever?”
What was the vision for your wedding?
Breanna: I am big into nature so I wanted a romantic, outdoor winter feel with a lot of beautiful lighting. That’s why I incorporated a lot of flowers and pine cones into the wedding and made sure to have candles and lanterns on every available table space.
Can you share any special moments or highlights from your wedding day?
Breanna: It’s hard to name just one because it flew by so quickly! But my first look with my now husband was amazing. Everything slowed down and we got to just spend a few minutes celebrating our love together with Meghan there to capture it all. Those will always be my favorite photos from the big day.
What are some tips you can share with other brides planning their weddings?
Breanna: Start early and don’t sweat the small stuff! There’s so many details that I didn’t notice at my own wedding, so your guests won’t notice them either! Focus on the bigger issues that really make your wedding memorable.
