Coffee Shop Engagement by Fancy Pants Photography

Stop whatever you’re doing and prepare to be obsessed with this sweet serendipitous engagement session. While Jess and Troy were supposed to be frolicking with scenic greenery surrounding them, mother nature had other plans that led to quite possibly one of the cutest sessions we’ve ever seen! Fancy Pants Photography is the mastermind behind these warm, authentic photos taken in Frothy Monkey. So grab your cup of joe and scroll your way through some favorites of this darling day.

From the photographer: This is an engagement session DERAILED. The plan was to shoot in the random patches of greenery within the heart of Nashville. The couple and I planned to grab some coffee before we departed and while I was waiting for them in an incredibly packed coffee shop, I get a text that says “We are on foot just around the corner!” when suddenly, the Earth shook with the most bodacious crack of thunder you’ve ever heard. Lightning, torrential rain, both instantly.

My couple (and a horde of others) run towards the coffee shop and kick in the door only be to be absolutely soaked anyways. The place was already crowded and now it is impossibly full. The weather radar says rain for the next hour. So, what do we do? We have our engagement session tethered to a lone table featuring warm mugs, tight spaces, genuine emotion, all while being surrounded by a crowd you’d usually only find at a concert.

And then we get a slice of sunshine to cap our session off.

How adorable are Jess and Troy?! And these photos by Fancy Pants Photography are amazing! We can’t thank Buddy enough for sharing such an awesome Nashville engagement session with us! For more of Buddy’s work, visit his website!
