Giving their guests the ultimate wedding experience, Lauren and AJ’s modern and southern wedding at Clementine Hall was true bliss! From their invitations and stationery to the reception decor and even cake design, their cohesive style was displayed through all parts of their day. And while their decor shined, the love between them and surrounding them is what really stole the show! From the first look (with Lauren and her dad) and first touch (with Lauren and AJ) all to the last dance, you’re sure to enjoy these images from Dolly Delong Photography!
Lauren + AJ
Dolly: “This wedding has been over a year in the making and your mom and I are so full of love and joy for this new chapter for you and AJ!” Mr. Laumeyer gently and tearfully spoke into the microphone to his daughter Lauren and new son-in-law, AJ. Nashville’s boutique venue, Clementine Hall was packed with close friends and family as they listened and laughed along to the toasts, speeches, and stories to celebrate the marriage of Lauren and AJ – aka #4EVERMOORE19.
Dolly: Instead of a first-look with AJ, Lauren opted-in for a first-look with her Father (cue the tears) and enjoyed several quiet moments with just her parents before the day began. Her time with her parents was incredibly sacred since they (her parents) just celebrated their 35 wedding anniversary, so they wanted to shower their daughter with some last moment hugs, kisses, and blessings because the next time they would “see” her, she would be officially married!
Dolly: Shortly after the bride’s “special” first-look with her parents, Lauren and AJ had a scheduled “first-touch” moment where they didn’t see each other, but they were able to hold hands on either side of the Clementine’s exposed brick wall and exchange some bride/groom gifts (cue even more tears).
When AJ finally did get to see Lauren as she walked down the aisle, he got to see how absolutely enchanting she was in her Posh Bridal Couture Gown, and his eyes certainly beamed with joy because after a full year of planning a wedding he was finally going to get to call Lauren his wife! It was truly an emotional moment for both of them, but thankfully Lauren had an impeccable hair and makeup experience with Kati Edge, so she looked both flawless and glamorous!
Dolly: After the ceremony, the hall was transformed into a modern romantic space filled with florals provided by T. Villager Designs, with the music of the live band, Top Tier, and the delicious aroma of Amerigo’s catering quickly filling up the room as guests ate, mingled, and hit the dance floor. Lauren and AJ danced to Ray LaMontagne’s “You Are The Best Thing” (a song which Lauren has been dreaming about dancing to since she was 12 years old), and then Lauren and her father stole the show as they danced to “My Girl” (And don’t worry, The Video Team of Silver Lining Productions Captured the entire event, so Lauren and AJ are certainly going to giggle their way through several of the dances for sure!)
Dolly: Every highlight of the night from the first dance to the cutting of the decadent coconut cake from Dulce Dessert was transitioned seamlessly by Sutlan + Co. (formerly Adriel Nutter Events) and her team who served everyone so joyfully and professionally.
The wedding ended with an epic glow stick send off as Lauren and AJ were whisked away in an antique and classy getaway car provided by Matchless Transportation.
How beautiful! Not a detail was missed in this modern and southern wedding at the Clementine and it surely shows! Congratulations to the newlyweds, Lauren and AJ! And special thanks to Dolly Delong Photography for sharing these images with us!
