Mediterranean Colors and Disco Balls Made for One Creative Wedding at Studio 615

Studio 615 Nashville Wedding with Mediterranean Colors

Ashley and Dave’s Mediterranean-inspired wedding at Studio 615 in Nashville was a testament to the power of thoughtful design and the warmth of love. Rita Davidson of Hey Hey Creative‘s artistic touch, combined with the couple’s vision, created an enchanting evening filled with Mediterranean colors, twinkling lights, and creativity. Despite the November chill, the atmosphere was cozy complete with an abundance of blooms and disco balls adding a sparkling touch. We’re excited for you to see how all the beauty of this whimsical celebration in these images captured by Darien Photography.

Studio 615

From the photographer, Darien:

The Event Hall at Studio 615 was a “blank-slate” that allowed for this couple’s wedding vision to flourish into a cozy, yet festive space designed by Rita Davidson from Hey Hey Creative.

Ashley and David’s wedding really felt intimate and comfortable, even though they had over 100 guests. They took their time to visit, and had fun with them. “Having a great party/reception, having good food, good music and dancing with our friends; seeing family” were the priorities for their November wedding.

They didn’t want a traditional wedding party with people standing with them. Instead, they had their friends and family sit at round tables during the ceremony, looking towards them getting married.

Light and color are the broad themes, with autumn colors with a “Mediterranean” splash of blues. Light was brought in by candles, disco balls, gold textured feature wall, and colorful LED lighting. Not all at once, but carefully curated through the space and timeline.

The autumn colors were displayed with the magnificent floral and event design in the altar arch and table settings. Velvet couches, mediterranean rugs and details added more color and textures.

Velvet was also featured by the groom wearing a brown velvet suit, and more than one guest also dressed accordingly. The atmosphere felt stylish and creative, such a pleasure to photograph.

Ashley is a writer and David is an editor/director. Ashley works for Made In Network and has freelanced for the Nashville Scene. David works primarily with comedy record labels.

“We both love solving creative problems and being weirdos together,” exclaims the pair.

Huge thank you to this couple and to Darien Photography for sharing this magical day with us!
