Tell us Joanna Seiber Music Studio + how long you’ve been in business.
Joanna: My name is Joanna Seiber and I have been offering an elegant touch to events for over ten years. As the CEO of Joanna Seiber Music Studio, I perform full time as a professional harpist and own a music studio with over 20 students. My studio focuses on providing music for weddings, corporate events, and galas, while coordinating special concerts with symphonies around the country.
How did you get started in weddings?
Joanna: My husband and I got married last year and I immediately fell in love with the wedding industry. As a classically trained musician, I thought it would be perfect to provide modern music on the harp for brides and grooms. After our wedding in June 2022, I chose to follow my dream and provide classical and modern love songs for the harp. Since then, I have done monthly work with brides and grooms around Knoxville, Chattanooga, Asheville, and Nashville.
What’s the philosophy behind Joanna Seiber Music Studio?
Joanna: My philosophy for Joanna Seiber Music is to provide an elegant touch to events around the world. My goals are to create quality music, to provide an ambience of comfort to the guests, and to add a sparkle of love through the gift of song.
What are your strengths compared to other wedding musicians?
Joanna: One’s wedding is one of the most important days in an individual’s life and I believe it is important to include wedding vendors who will make it a priority to make that day as special as possible. Although there are many musicians in the wedding industry, it can be rather difficult to find a group that will deliver an excellent product and that provide flexibility in the songs/genres they perform. My business aims to provide quality music at a concert level and nothing less.
What attracts couples to your Joanna Seiber Music?
Joanna: Many couples look for musicians to provide popular love songs and cater to their own musical interests. I have found some couples book me as their harpist because I offer a variety of genres with popular songs and am also willing to play timeless pieces.
What is the most innovative new product, service, style or other aspect of your industry that brides and grooms might appreciate?
Joanna: As a full time content creator on Instagram and YouTube with over 50,000 views, my husband and I have often offered to create social media content for the bride and groom at the weddings I play for. Upon request, I can wear a ball gown for formal weddings, creating a more elegant touch with the harp.
Is there anything else you’d like to share about your company?
Joanna: My team includes a violinist who used to perform at Dollywood and a cellist and pianist from the Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge.
