Love and light — today’s hip engagement session is combining the best of both worlds! Capturing Leslie and Branson in their natural element, Nashville wedding photographer Meghan Melia Photography focused on the couples radiant love and glowing sun to make each portrait completely authentic and yet so magazine worthy! How did you get engaged? Tell us about your proposal!
Leslie: Sooo we haven’t gotten engaged … yet!! It’s coming very very soon.. spring time! It’s a surprise of how it’s happened and what day, but I know it’s gonna happen in the spring soon. But we have talked a lot about what we want so here’s all the details that we have discussed!
How many guests are you expecting?
Leslie: 150-200
What’s your wedding budget?
Leslie: $25,000
Who have you hired for your wedding team so far?
Leslie: No on yet! Although I’m a hairstylist and do lots of bridal hair so I will definitely have one of my girls on my team do my hair and makeup 🙂
What was it like working with your photographer?
Leslie: I loved Meghan!!! She made us feel so natural and so comfortable . I loved every single picture she sent us (which is very unusual for me). She captured us and our personalities perfectly .
What did you like most about the session?
Leslie: That she was focused on lighting and not so much where we were… she made our bedroom and areas we were at look so cool and like it was purposely set up for the session and it totally wasn’t lol.
Would you recommend the photographer and why?
Leslie: Absolutely!! I have already shared her info to my friends and clients. She makes you feel so comfortable and she’s so easy going. She captured us in a very natural way versus us being cheesy and looking like we were posing. I love her and she made us look like models!
Is there anything else you’d like to share with NBG readers?
Leslie: Yes, I love The bridal community and the whole engagement process is so fun and doesn’t need to be stressful. I love following you all and your all’s work is very inspiring!
