Fallon’s Viral Dress Video & Her Engagement to Chris

In the whirlwind of wedding planning, couples often navigate the challenging balance of work, life, and love. For Fallon and Chris, this journey has been unique—made even more special by their shared love for pop culture and their professional lives, which revolve around building major events like New York Comic Con and Star Wars Celebration. Having been friends and colleagues for years before dating, they had a solid foundation that blossomed into love in 2022. The couple’s engagement was the culmination of this long-standing connection, and their wedding plans reflect the same passion and teamwork that has been part of their relationship from the start.

A Shared Work Life and Love for Pop Culture

Fallon and Chris met while working for Reed Pop, a company known for organizing some of the biggest pop culture events. Fallon, who joined the company in 2014 after her stint at MTV News, is the marketing director, while Chris, who joined in 2018 from Marvel, is the event manager. Over time, their professional camaraderie turned into a deep friendship, and eventually, love. Working in the events industry has given them a unique relationship dynamic. Fallon points out that many people caution against dating a coworker due to potential awkwardness, but for them, it’s been a blessing. Their demanding travel schedules and shared understanding of the job have only strengthened their bond.

However, like any couple working closely together, Fallon and Chris acknowledge the challenges of maintaining boundaries. “We travel together, live together, work from home together,” says Chris. To navigate this, they’ve implemented clear guidelines to keep work and personal life separate. Despite these boundaries, their shared professional experiences have undoubtedly deepened their relationship, allowing them to appreciate each other’s skills and support each other through hectic schedules.

The Viral Dress Moment

Fallon recently went viral on Instagram after sharing a deeply personal moment: trying on a House of CB dress. Fallon, who has been on a significant health journey and has lost 80 pounds, shared the emotional experience of finally fitting into a dress from a brand she had long admired but could never wear due to size restrictions. Fallon opened up about her struggles with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and her decision to embark on this health journey, not just for herself but for the future family she and Chris hope to build.

The video Fallon originally recorded for her mom took on a life of its own when she decided to share it with the world, hoping it would resonate with others who have felt the frustration of not fitting into societal norms. The clip went viral, racking up millions of views and touching the hearts of many women who shared similar experiences. Fallon’s decision to post the video came from a place of wanting to help others feel less alone in their struggles, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive.

A Pop Culture-Inspired Wedding

Their love of movies plays a big role in Fallon and Chris’s relationship, so it was only fitting that their engagement photo shoot took place at the historic Lafayette Theater in Suffern, New York. This unique venue, which has been around for over a century, perfectly captures their shared passion for film. Fallon describes the shoot as magical, with photos that captured their personalities and love for pop culture in a way that no traditional engagement shoot could.

Fallon’s vision for the wedding itself is equally bold and personal. With a theme that blends gothic romance with Dracula-esque elegance, the couple’s January 2026 wedding promises to be a celebration of both their love and their shared aesthetic. Fallon has meticulously planned the wedding down to the smallest details, creating mood boards and even customizing their stationery to evoke the atmosphere of Dracula’s castle. Black, burgundy, and moody florals will set the tone, while their bridal party will be decked out in floor-length black attire. Chris, embracing his love for classic style, will be channeling Sean Connery’s James Bond in a white tuxedo jacket.

Planning Advice for Other Couples

Fallon and Chris have one piece of advice for couples currently planning their weddings: prioritize what truly matters to you. For Fallon, that meant investing in an incredible photo and video team, as those memories will be what they carry with them long after the wedding day is over. They also encourage couples to enjoy the engagement process and not get too bogged down by the overwhelming aspects of planning. As Fallon said, “You can throw a beautiful wedding within your budget, no matter what it is.”

For this couple, the wedding is not just about the event—it’s about celebrating the journey they’ve been on together, both in life and in love. And with their love of pop culture as the backdrop, their big day will be as unique and unforgettable as they are.
