Common Misunderstandings About an All- Inclusive Destination Wedding from 2 Travel Anywhere

Tell us all about the misconceptions of an all-inclusive honeymoon destination!

Carlie: Not all the resorts that offer all inclusive are the same. The trick is to do your research in advance or book with a travel agent (2 Travel Anywhere) who can help guide you on the best resort for the two of you. You may want to know the different between all inclusive and some of the other options available on the vacation market. All-inclusive vs a la carte All inclusive resorts typically cover your lodging, unlimited meals, unlimited alcohol and non-alcohol drinks, gratuities and other services are all included. A La Carte as the name suggest allows you to select what you need for your vacation rather than a combination of services at a fixed rate. Often the A la Carte you will end up paying more than expected at the end of your vacation. All-inclusive vs Half-board: Half-board resorts tend to include some options and services, and not others as part of your package. For example, two meals, such as breakfast and lunch maybe included but not the snacks or unlimited- drinks and food. This option is very different than all inclusive option where all your meals and drinks are included during your stay. All inclusive vs Full Board Full board means that you can expect most meals to be provided during your stay but you won’t be able to order additional food- such as an extra appetizer or extra lobster with surf and turf. Some full board plans will charge extra for alcohol drinks and snacks which is what makes it different than all inclusive option. When selecting an all inclusive resort you are enjoying everything for your vacation and it is all included.

What is considered all-inclusive?

Carlie: With Sandals and Beaches Resorts the all inclusive perks are 5 star gourmet dining up to 16 restaurants at a resort. Breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner- you can eat as much as you wish.. Foodies will love all you can eat vacation as you can order as many appetizers, add extra lobster or even order one of each desert on the menu because no hidden fees or extra cost it is all included. What type of restaurant options are available? You can try cuisines with Italian, Caribbean local favorites, French, Indian, Habitchi , Sushi and more.
