Their wedding has captivated truly romantic, intimate, yet absolutely dreamy with moody vibes. With a combination of planning by Modern Vintage Events and the stunning venue, Alabaster Collective, they were able to embody Sydney and Scott’s personalities and relationship through their wedding. Tell us a little a bit about the wedding!
From planner, Rebecca with Modern Vintage Events: Sydney & Scott are creative, fashionable and have a wonderful eye for design. They hosted an intimate wedding with their closest family and friends that included a “backyard” ceremony and dinner and a courtyard cocktail hour at a renovated house in Germantown, Nashville.
After the ceremony, the guests moved to the interior courtyard for cocktails and live music before heading back to the pack terrace for al fresco dining. The rest of the night was spent dancing, talking and enjoying the company of their family and friends.

From planner, Rebecca with Modern Vintage Events: Sydney’s dress was stunning, it was sleek and modern with a beautiful, high fashion bow on the back. Scott was dapper in a classic tux.
What was one of the favorite parts of the day?
From planner, Rebecca with Modern Vintage Events: Their ceremony was performed by a friend and was full of laughter and emotional music cues, there was seriously not a dry eye in the place. Sydney’s brother, who she is very close to, walked her down the aisle. They had colorful florals to pop on the dark wood of the back patio.
What was the venue and wedding flowers like?
From planner, Rebecca with Modern Vintage Events: Alabaster Collective, where they got married, was the perfect backdrop. The interior was eclectic in all the right ways with interesting design elements. They added small details and florals to enhance what was already there.
What was the wedding cake like?
From planner, Rebecca with Modern Vintage Events: The wedding cake was a beautiful semi-iced cake with gold foil from Baked on 8th.
