Bold burgundy tones, fuchsia hues, and beautiful blues came together for Julie and Erik’s charming southern Loveless Barn wedding. With an abundance of florals by Branching Out Floral & Event Design , nods towards Disney, and the crisp seasonal air, the two held an outdoor ceremony for their vows followed by a night of dinner and dancing. Tell us about the couple.
From the photographer: Erik and Julie met outside of Boston with an online dating service. Their love grew together with Disney adventures and a love music and trivia. Their journey took them to Nashville and a year later Julie said I do and they began our fairytale. Julie is a Patient Care coordinator at Star Physical Therapy and Erik is a IT analyst for Life Point Health.
Tell us about your vision.
Julie: Our dream was to have a farm house style wedding with classic and elegant tones, Disney infusions, and a fall backdrop.
What was the theme and what inspired it?
Julie: Southern elegance
What details were used to create the theme?
Julie: Florals, music, Disney infusions, and vintage gowns!
Can you share any special moments or highlights of their wedding day?
The couple: Erik’s highlight was watching Julie walk down the aisle. Julie’s favorite moment was wearing her dress and the joy of family and friends.
Did they have any special requests or unique challenges that you had to work together to overcome?
The couple: [We had] unusually cold weather for an outdoor ceremony. Erik says “between Sara Grace and Sarah Danielle (day of coordinator) the day was ideal.” Julie says “Sara Grace did everything for me and made my day seamless and perfect!”
