The day began with a classic chapel ceremony at Belmont University, where Mattie wowed in a floral appliqué gown and the groom delivered his vows from a comically long parchment scroll—setting a joyful, lighthearted tone that carried through the day. But it was the couple’s beloved pup, Puckett, who truly stole the spotlight. Dressed to impress in his own tiny tuxedo, Puckett wasn’t just a guest, he was part of the wedding party, featured in everything from sweet cameos throughout the day to a custom cake topper and even take-home “pup snack” favors for guests’ dogs. The celebration continued at The Joseph Nashville, where clear candelabras, long-stemmed candles, and white florals graced every table, and the couple’s custom monogram added a luxurious, personal touch to the bar and dance floor.
