How did you guys meet?
Sarah: We met in college at Tennessee Tech through mutual friends!
Tell us about your engagement!
Sarah: We had been together for 5 years and he proposed at the Vanderbilt SUMMIT overlook in NYC. It was exactly a year from our wedding date (both on winter solstice).

What was the vision for your wedding?
Sarah: I couldn’t help myself with riding on the “theme” of our last names. My maiden last name is rose so of course lots of roses and our last name now is Noel so I wanted a winter wedding. It was perfect that the Noelle has the most stunning indoor space and I fell in love instantly when we went to visit.

What was your theme and what inspired it?
Sarah: We wanted timeless, classy, with a touch of Christmas feel. The winter greenery with red, pink and white roses gave it that vibe and the dusty blue color added in is such a classic wedding color as well as our favorite color anyway!

Where did you splurge? Where did you save/DIY?
Sarah: I DIYed a LOT! I love crafting and was able to make the signs, table numbers, invites, and menus. Since I was a dancer, I definitely splurged on DJ set up and I love clothes and accessories so the dress and jewelry was also part of a splurge!

What words of advice do you have for couples in the midst of their planning?
Sarah: I used the WHOLE year to plan it! Take it week by week. Get your vendors locked down soon but then so much of it can be done little by little after that!
Can you share any special moments or highlights from your wedding day?
Sarah: Having our private vows and first look was one of my favorite parts of the day as well as sitting at the dinner table with my husband and being able to look around the room and soak in all the people that you love so much, celebrating your love!

From their custom-made décor to their private vows and joyful dance floor moments, Sarah and Seth’s wedding day was a perfect winter romance brought to life. Their thoughtful planning, creative spirit, and love for each other were evident in every detail. As Sarah reminds other couples in the midst of planning, taking things one week at a time can lead to a celebration that’s both intentional and unforgettable. With timeless elegance, a personal touch of Christmas cheer, and the warmth of 95 cherished guests, their Noelle Hotel wedding was a celebration to remember.
