Tell us about the shoot vision.
Megan of Locklane Weddings & Events: Our group of wedding planners decided to do a collaborative photoshoot in downtown with Juniper Green Kitchen. Molly Martin, the owner, reached out to us to do a shoot at her private dining pop-up at the Fairlane Hotel. A quick tour of the space and we were sold; we also knew that it must have a retro, Mad Men style to fit with the hotel. With a Mad Men vibe, we decided on the theme of “Spring at the Fairlane” with a timeless style and bold colors. Our color palette was black, gold, and soft blue for neutrals with pops of bright colors – even the food was colorful. We were able to source a brilliant mini dress and pantsuit for our bride, which really set the tone! But the overall design of the Fairlane was a perfect backdrop.
What details were used to create the theme?
Megan: The bold colors were pulled from inspiration photos from the past and spring photos for the future.
Were there any special requests or unique challenges that you had to work together to overcome?
Megan: At the end of a year of quarantine, with multiple cancelled weddings and events, this styled shoot was a balm to our souls. We were able to be creative together and gather in a safe manner.
Anyone else feel happy and cheerful after looking at this retro spring wedding styled shoot?! The Nashville Wedding Planners Group is a talented bunch and we’re couldn’t be happier that they allowed us to share their inspiration with y’all!
