Rent a Flower Wall for Your Nashville Wedding from Please Be Seated

It's a hot new trend that's taking the wedding world by storm… flower walls! We've seen them on Pinterest, wedding blogs, Kim + Kanye's wedding… even Kym Johnson + Robert Herjavec's wedding has a similar floral backdrop! And up until now, the only way to get them here in Nashville was to ask your florist for something VERY custom or DIY it… which let's be real… that's a HUGE undertaking when you have so many other wedding tasks to take care of!

But when this photo popped up on my Instagram feed, I jumped for joy! Our very own luxury event rental resource in Nashville, Please Be Seated, is now offering flower walls. Now you can have your own celebrity wedding moment at your Nashville wedding! So how can you get one of these beauties at your wedding? We asked Please Be Seated owner, Mary Huddleston, to fill us in on all the lush details, so keep reading to find out more…

What colors do the flower walls come in?

Mary: The flower walls currently come in various shades of white. We wanted to start with something neutral that could be versatile for many events. We also wanted to see how they were received by clients and expand our collection from there. They're already one of our most popular rental items, so we're looking into new options such as an all-jeweled toned flower wall.

How big are the flower walls? Do they come in different sizes?

Mary: We can adjust them to various sizes, but our two standard walls are 8 ft. tall by 8 ft. wide. We can create a solid floral wall up to 16 ft. long (still 8 ft. tall).

What type of bride would love a flower wall at her wedding?

Mary: The flower wall is used mostly by our traditional brides, but they are very versatile, so they can be used in any setting depending on the rest of the decor around them. They can be used as a traditional backdrop for a ceremony or behind a wedding cake, but if you surround them by all-white modern furniture and glowing bars, they could take on a more edgy-look behind the band. They are so decadent and different, and I think almost any bride would love using them unless you're going for a minimalist look. They are definitely not minimalist!

What are some unique ways you can use a flower wall at a wedding?

Mary: They make excellent backdrops for cakes, dessert tables, photo booths, etc., but I think my favorite use so far as been as a backdrop for a champagne tower. It was incredible. You could also use it for a step-and-repeat as your guests enter your reception. It makes a great selfie-wall!

Are there any other new products from Please Be Seated?

Mary: Along with the flower walls, we have some fun new colorful sofas that mix well with our current collection. They are great for the fall/winter, and are made of crushed velvet so they have a rich texture. We are always adding to our collection, and to keep up with our inventory you can visit our website and follow us on Instagram.

Will you be expanding your inventory of flower walls?

Mary: In addition to the flower wall, we will be building matching floral inserts for our bars and stage fronts so that your entire event can coordinate and look custom! Call us now to book for your next event! 615-925-3367.
