How did you guys meet?
Briley: We actually went to high school together but did not talk. We crossed paths again about 5 years ago through a mutual friend.
Tell us about your engagement!
Briley: It was December 28th and we had just gotten back from a great day of spending time together. We got back and he proposed with all out dogs around in front of our Christmas tree and it was so special.
What was the vision for your wedding?
Briley: Since I am in the wedding industry, I wanted something you don’t see a lot. A lot of my vision came from realizing I wanted no greenery and big statement flowers.
What was your theme and what inspired it?
Briley: I really wanted a modern flair, keeping it mostly black and white, and wanted tall “tree” like centerpieces.
What details were used to create your theme?
Briley: I used curly willow and dendrobium orchids in tall clear vases. Storm blue velvet linens, black accents.
Where did you splurge? Where did you save/DIY?
Briley: I didn’t care much about my food. I realized an open bar, flowers, photography and the band meant the most to me.
What words of advice do you have for couples in the midst of their planning?
Briley: Be patient and soak up every moment. It goes by SO fast. I also highly recommend a first look.
Can you share any special moments or highlights from your wedding day?
Briley: Me and my dad are very close and in his tuxedo jacket I embroidered “I will always be your little girl” and he saw it for the first time during our first look.
Is there anything else you’d like to share about your wedding?
Briley: We had such a unique and special day and would love to tell you more!
