Tell us about PLS Coordinate + how long you’ve been in business.
Patrice: PLS Coordinate is a Nashville and Atlanta Based Budget Friendly Planning and Coordination Company. This is a company where Passion Meets Professional. Where your big day becomes ours as well. Where every detail matters. Where your visions collides with our performance and turns out unforgettable for you and your guest. We truly believe in making dreams a reality. When thinking of your big day you don’t think about timelines, vendor load ins and outs , or even if the venue requires you to recycle or not. But guess what, we do.
How did you get started in weddings?
Patrice: Well, I use to be TV and Film Casting Producer in Los Angeles. I have casted, Undercover Boss, Wife Swap, Iyanla Fix my life plus a few more. Once I started a family I wanted to move to Nashville but also wanted to find something that was comparable. I had coordinated and planned a few of my friends weddings and LOVED it. So, I just dove right in it head first… Honestly, weddings are just a production of LOVE . You have all these elements, aspects and moving pieces just like a TV show but prettier. So, if I can organize and manage TV your wedding day will be easy just prettier.
What’s the philosophy behind PLS Coordinate?
Patrice: I think Maya Angelou said it best. I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.’ Honestly, we want all our clients to remember how they felt on their wedding day not all the things they had to do. We want them to be happy with how things turned out. WE are in the business of creating moments and memories.
What are your strengths compared to other wedding planners?
Patrice: Honestly, our authoritative smile and kindness. A lot of people are organized and a lot people can help plan your day but no one is like us. We are the glue that helps hold our clients together with a smile. We have had to be peace makers, problem solvers, counselors, the middle man plus so much more. We do it all with pure joy. I truly believe if we can make your wedding day amazing that means we have started your first day of a being a married couple on the right foot.
What attracts couples to your business (+ describe that couple!)?
Patrice: We have had several couples that have said we are going with you because of how you made us feel on our consultation call. It wasn’t our price, it wasn’t all the documents we sent over. It was the reviews that other couples have left and how on our call they felt at ease about the process. We truly care about their day and them as a couple. A piece of mind and happiness is priceless.
What is the most innovative new product, service, style or other aspect of your industry that brides and grooms might appreciate?
Patrice: I think couples may appreciate the fact they can mix things up now. You don’t have to go with the same traditions as your parents you can literally mold your wedding day into exactly what you and your spouse want it to be. So go ahead and have no bridal party, or go ahead and have a bridesman or a bestwoman on your side. On your wedding day the skies are the limit.
