Tell us about Nash Bash Experiences + how long you’ve been in business.
Gina: I started Nash Bash Experiences the end of 2019 as I was previously working in the tourism industry before going full time with photography. I knew there was a need for those tourists and bachelorette’s visiting Nashville for things to do so I created a Photowalk to take photos of them in front of Nashville’s famous murals. We offer hour long experiences where we walk around a cute neighborhood and I take professional photos of each guest in front of the murals. Each group ends up with a gallery of fully edited photos ready to post or print to remember their trip to Nashville!
How did you get started in weddings?
Gina: Aside from offering Photowalk Experiences, I also am a wedding photographer and videographer. I knew from the beginning that I wanted to photograph weddings and since going full time I have had the pleasure of working with some amazing couples capturing their day.
What’s the philosophy behind Nash Bash Experiences?
Gina: My philosophy is centered around empowerment and leaving a positive impact on everyone I meet. It’s the greatest blessing when a client leaves me a review on how amazing their experience was before I even deliver their photos. I get to meet people from around the world and represent Nashville and I take that reputation very seriously. I want everyone to feel relaxed and calm- no stress is every allowed I always say. And I always strive for organic, natural photographs.
What are your strengths compared to others in your category?
Gina: People always say that I have a very calming presence so I use that to other’s advantage, especially on wedding days to calm down an anxious bride. From the photowalk standpoint, I think my past in the hospitality industry combined with my photography skills really create a unique set of skills where I can give a tour while always posing you to look your best in photos. It’s the best of both worlds where you get a tour guide and a photographer.
What attracts couples to Nash Bash Experiences?
Gina: I love down to earth couples who are looking for that stress free, organic experience. They don’t take life too seriously and just want to do piggy back rides and be silly with each other. Bachelorette groups who are attracted to me on a photowalk tour are those who want to really focus on the memories of their trip. They want cute photos to post on their instagram and dress up for their experience, but also just want to have fun and a break from doing the traditional broadway thing. I love chill brides who want to create some fun memories with their girls in a laid back setting for an hour with me.
What is the most innovative new product, service, style or other aspect of your industry that brides and grooms might appreciate?
Gina: I think what stands out right now in my business is that we are all outside for the experiences, so it is a socially distanced safe activity. It’s something different than riding a tractor down broadway because you actually leave with something tangible and it really connects your whole trip together.
Is there anything else you’d like to share about Nash Bash Experiences?
Gina: Not only do we have a bachelorette themed experience but we also host couples, girls trips, families and anyone who wants more than just selfies on vacation! We show you Nashville’s most famous murals, take insta worthy photos, and show you around a cute neighborhood while learning about Nashville. It’s a no brainer to add on as a bachelorette activity or for something to do when friends are in town.
