Tell us about CM Event Design + how long you’ve been in business.
Christine: I started CM Event Design in 2017. My goal as a wedding planner is to provide a comprehensive and stress-free planning experience in order to allow my clients to enjoy this amazing time in their lives.
How did you get started in weddings?
Christine: I come from a hotel background. I was in the hotel industry for 20 years with 15 of those years being an event planner for hotels. I’ve had the opportunity to work at some amazing hotels in both Boston and Las Vegas before moving to Nashville in 2016.
What’s the philosophy behind CM Event Design?
Christine: My experience in the hotel industry has given me a unique perspective when it comes to planning weddings. I focus on being a boutique company. I am a wedding “factory” type planner. I don’t offer set packages because I believe each wedding is unique and therefore each client’s needs are different. I typically do not book more than one wedding a weekend so I can take the time to focus on each wedding and give each wedding couple the attention they need. I believe in taking the time to get to know each couple and as a result many times I become like a member of their extended family.
What are your strengths compared to others in your category?
Christine: I think my attention to detail is what sets me aside from other planners. I listen to what my clients want and need. Whether it is a wedding of summer casuals, a black-tie celebration or a four-day destination wedding extravaganza I’m going to do everything in my power to bring their vision to life. My goal is to truly make their wedding dreams a reality.
