Luxe Downtown Nashville Engagement Session Inspired by Victoria & David Beckham

Downtown Nashville Engagement Session Emily Reedstrom Photography

We’ve got thing for downtown Nashville engagement sessions. But when they’re this polished and romantic, it takes our adoration to a whole other level. Choosing to call Nashville their home, Monika and Andrew took their photographer Emily Reedstrom Photography‘s advice and held their e-sesh in the city. Since their style is inspired by Victoria and David Beckham they hit up locations around town that provided a more elevated backdrops including the Nashville Symphony Building before heading to other spots like Broadway and the Pedestrian Bridge. The charisma and happiness displayed on their faces complemented their fashion-worthy ensembles in each and every image; showing off their love and the stillness of mornings of the city in the best light!

From the photographer:

Monika and Andrew wanted an engagement session that reflected their classic, elegant style with the city of Nashville as the backdrop. Monika describes their style as “a Victoria and David Beckham type style—-clean and polished.” Both Monika and Andrew are very busy working professionals who care deeply for their family and their roots. Knowing that they had just purchased their first home together in Nashville, I suggested that we use the city that they are building a life together as the backdrop to their engagement photos.

It was a beautiful morning in Nashville – my personal favorite type – overcast, warm with a breeze and quiet. I love Nashville first thing in the morning because you can truly see what a beautiful city it is without the hustle and bustle. We started our session over at the Nashville Symphony building – the beautiful grand pillars and architecture reflected the polished and elevated style that Monika and Andrew share. From there we went over to Broadway, and the Pedestrian bridge.

The couple shared that their favorite date is anything to do with food – they consider themselves “huge foodies.” For the second part of their engagement session Andrew had the idea to go over to the Assembly Food Hall to utilize their rooftop dining area and share a quick donut with each other.

Monika and Andrew were complete naturals in front of the camera and were so relaxed and at ease in each other’s presence. I loved working with them for their engagement session and traveling with them to their wedding in Dallas this past spring.
