Combining their love of the Titans with meaningful locations around the city, get ready for Rachel and Matt’s fun downtown Nashville engagement shoot! The two traipsed through the town sporting their personalized jerseys before changing into dressier attire to hit up the first place they met (Baileys!). Upon toasting to their love with a brew, they headed to Bi-Centennial Park, where they ended the session in the water fountains with some epic shots all taken by Sara Bill Photography! This session is a true tribute to their love for one another and to Nashville! Keep scrolling to see some of our favorites!
What’s your most fun purchase/hire to date?
Rachel: Our personal jerseys. Love that we get to enjoy them for many years to come as we share a huge appreciation for sports. These jerseys worked so well in our photoshoot and we loved using them for our save the date tickets!
Tell us about your engagement session. Where did it take place?
Rachel: We were all over downtown Nashville. Sara was so great with us and just let us laugh virtually the entire time. We had a bunch of fun sharing some down time with her at Bailey’s before getting into the water fountains at Bi-Centennial Park.
What’s the significance of the location?
Rachel: Bailey’s was the major significance for us, as it is where we first met. All the other locations for our shoot are fun places we got to experience some of our best memories over the past several years together.
What was it like working with your photographer?
Rachel: Sara is up for anything, which functions on two levels, we were instantly relaxed for our session and our photos looked natural instead of posed. We really like her style, her use of color and light caught our attention when we were searching for a photographer. We are so excited to see what she captures on our special day.
What did you like most about the session?
Rachel: We loved the way our photos in the water fountains turned out. We haven’t seen any photos like that done before and glad we were able to do something different!
Would you recommend the photographer and why?
Rachel: Absolutely!! Sara continues to invest in new photography skills to bring to her sessions, which makes her willing to try new things and help make your photos unique. It was great to have an in-person meeting with her before our shoot. She is very interested in knowing her clients and getting a feel for what they like and how she can best help. Also, we really enjoyed her business set-up. Her website is extremely user friendly and we loved ordering our metal prints from her for our office desks. We have received so many compliments on them!
Is there anything else you’d like to share with NBG readers?
Rachel: Enjoy the process and don’t hesitate to ask for help. Vendors want to help you and have been so great to us – especially during this pandemic period of time that is causing so much chaos.
