Look no further for a wedding scene with lots of land, beautiful backdrop scenery, and a brand new barn on property. The Fly Farm venue is just 30 minutes outside the bustling cities of Franklin, Spring Hill, and Columbia. With the option of having the barn climate controlled or open air with their retractable glass doors, this venue is all season! With Whimsy and Wilder took to The Fly Farm with models and loads of other talented vendors in hand to create this stunning styled shoot so that you can get a feel for what your wedding could look like! Fly Farm Events is a brand new venue south of Nashville that will be open this year to all couples in love. Local vendors wanted to come together and showcase the venue and the grounds’ beauty. Inside the venue, you find, although a new building, an old charm with high ceilings that boast of beautiful beams and light from the windows above. The plus side to the barn is that it is air-conditioned and heated year-round.
When designing the mood board for the shoot, we wanted to bring in jewel tones that tie into the warmth of the space. Lots of candles, colorful florals, and an antique place setting bring romantic, whimsical, and classic together to inspire couples that color, if done correctly, can do a venue some good.
Each of us vendors wanted to bring color and happiness to the shoot to show that weddings don’t have to have only pampas grass or eucalyptus. Or even that a barn wedding doesn’t have to have lace, baby breath, or rustic features. I think we all came together and created exactly what we had envisioned.
