Adeline and William’s wedding was a masterclass in elevating a backyard wedding of a Tennessee AirBNB, with every detail meticulously planned and executed to create a family-oriented, immersive experience for their guests. With the help of Adeline’s mother who played an integral role in bringing the vision to life, the couple transformed their ceremony into a serene scene with white and green accents. The reception, however, turned up the vibrancy with bold, lively colors, keeping the energy high throughout the night. Though much of the day was DIY, it was impossible to tell from the polished execution. It was a beautiful day of charm and sophistication that Fox & Fig Photography captured with ease.

Tell us about the couple.
From the photographer, Sarah: Let’s start with the bride – she is the picture of grace. She absolutely lights up a room when she enters, with a joyful, calming presence. She is a welcoming, stunning young woman who is a stranger to absolutely no one.
William, our dashing groom, is similar to his bride though more reserved in a manner. The two together are absolutely undeniable – watching them on wedding day as well as at their pre-wedding reception with extended guests earlier in the year, they are gracious hosts to all of their guests yet somehow to pull right back to one another’s side without fail.
Tell us about the couple’s vision for their wedding.
Sarah: Adeline’s mother, Ashley, was an integral part of helping with the overall wedding vision. Since they held a casual pre-wedding reception back in their hometown, the wedding day’s overall vibe was an intimate event with an elegant white & green ceremony layout then full, vibrant colors at the reception.

What was their theme and what inspired it? What details were used to create the theme?
Sarah: I think the theme has to be summed up as joyful – there is not a common denominator better suited.
The couple (along with Ashley, the MOB – she truly took on so much of the details!) spared no detail in ensuring that their day was fun for themselves and their guests. They had their media teams on site for ample time, ensuring they were not rushed and that all details could be captured. The calm, bright ceremony was highlight by a string quartet setting the tone for the event, and after the reception space was just as decorated yet bumped the “fun” factor up, keeping energy levels high!
Can you share your favorite memory or any special moments from the day?
Sarah: The Nashville String Quartet was my favorite detail of the day – they performed prelude as well as ceremony music and they truly tied the ambiance of the day together! A close runner-up – Adeline’s bridal shoes! She chose a sophisticated slingback pump from Sam Edelman in Robin Egg blue – perfect for a “something blue” OR “something new”!
Is there anything else you’d like to share?
Sarah: The couple hired one of the best wedding painters I’ve ever worked with – Rebecca Hunter. Her end work was impeccably detailed and she was exceptional to work alongside.

Huge thank you to Adeline, William, and Fox & Fig Photography for sharing this celebration with us!
