With their wedding taking place in a country setting, Sharon and Joe knew they wanted engagement photos with an urban feel. They opted for a cute and casual Nashville engagement session in the heart of the city, with Kéra Photography there to document their sweet and playful love. How did you get engaged? Tell us about your proposal.
Sharon: Joe and I went to a Sunday brunch at Cheekwood. After we finished brunch, we walked through all of the gardens. As we were walking through the last garden full of beautiful colorful tulips, Joe got down on one knee and proposed!
How many guests are you expecting?
Sharon: We were expecting around 200 guests, but due to covid, we will have around 115 guests.
Who have you hired for your wedding team so far?
Sharon: We hired Kéra for photography, but we had to postpone due to covid and she is unavailable for the new date. Native among you will be the photographer for wedding, White Blooms floral is our florist, Simply Golden events is our coordinator, Zoeys cake box is doing our cake, Battle mountain farm is our venue, 3rd coast entertainment will be the DJ, and Two Fat Men is doing the catering.
What’s your wedding style?
Sharon: Tradition, classic, fun.
What’s the significance of the engagement session location?
Sharon: Our engagement session was located in the heart of Nashville. We live in Nashville, so it was perfect. We also will be getting married in the country, so decided to go with a city vibe for the engagement session

Sharon: Kéra is so easy and fun to work with. Definitely recommend her! She’s amazing!
