It’s the year of Ultra Violet and I’m loving all of the purple-y inspiration! This shoot at Carnton Plantation was also styled by Jayde Smith, Carnton’s wedding and events manager. The oh-so-lovely backdrop of the historic garden venue paired so well with the lilac inspiration from White Ink Calligraphy‘s paper goods + signage along with the gorgeous florals from Beyond Details. Bride and grooms can choose to make their wedding a part of our tradition as they say their vows under the one hundred sixty-year-old Osage Orange tree in our restored garden. Whether you’ve dreamed of a rustic outdoor setting or want more modern amenities, one of our reception locations will complete your vision. To treat your guests to a true back-in-time experience, we will open the 1826 McGavock family home and invite them inside for a walk-through tour and glimpse into the history of Tennessee.

Jayde: The pastoral landscapes, restored garden, the McGavock mansion and rich history Carnton offers can serve as a blank canvas.
