Wow-worthy florals, striking furniture pieces, and show-stopping lighting all came together for this barn wedding inspiration at Saddle Woods Farm. Amy & I Designs along with Larson Floral Co. decked out every space with beautiful blooms to fit each styled area with other incredible vendors putting their spin on each design; all to showcase that you can in fact fuse your own personal style into a rustic setting. Modern, moody, boho, or elegant – this styled shoot has got it all. Oh and don’t forget to see the real star of the show, the farm’s horse Dolly! Tell us about the shoot vision.
Amy: Morgan & Jayme Legate at Saddle Woods Farm reached out to me and saying that it’s been a dream of theirs to have a photo shoot at the barn since they opened. After 6 years, we finally did it! After collaborating with a wonderful vendor team, we designed 8 looks (maybe more)! The goal was to come up with designs what were creative and different and accentuated the look of the barn and the outdoor space. We wanted something that you wouldn’t normally see at a wedding or special event and stood out.
What was the theme and what inspired it?
Amy: The different stations consisted of a moody modern table, earthy bohemian table, classic contemporary table, and other fun stations.
What details were used to create the theme?
Amy: The rentals from Southern Events, and lighting from Nashville Event Lighting really brought the designs together and brought our flowers to life. Fun velvet furniture pieces added a bold statement and you can’t forget Dolly, Saddle Woods Farm’s horse, that stole the show.
