From personalized welcome bags to custom signage, Emma and Tony’s wedding at Mint Springs Farm was a heartfelt celebration filled with charm, creativity, and unforgettable personal touches. With the help of an incredibly supportive planning team and Emma’s talented mom, nearly every detail was DIY’d to perfection — transforming the venue into a romantic, whimsical dream. This Tennessee wedding combined the warmth of Southern hospitality with the elegance of a well-curated Pinterest vision board, resulting in a day that was just as meaningful as it was beautiful. See it through the eyes of Riann Hassell in these incredible highlights below!

Emma’s mom poured her heart into every detail of the wedding, handcrafting an impressive array of DIY elements that added a deeply personal touch to the celebration. She created everything from the ceremony fans, seating chart, and menu, to the in-memory table, bridesmaids’ hangers, groomsmen coolers, unity candles, and a variety of charming signs—including the welcome sign, the “I’d find you in any lifetime” sign, the “Emma and Tony” wooden door sign, the cigar bar sign, and the audio guestbook sign. As if that weren’t enough, she also assembled custom Tennessee-themed welcome bags for each hotel guest, complete with personalized Emma and Tony playing cards, a hangover kit, regional snacks, and even the ingredients to make a Tennessee Mule cocktail—ensuring guests felt welcomed, celebrated, and part of something truly special.

Emma: Upon my first inquiry (with Mint Springs Farm) we had nothing but incredible communication with Bec and Kelly, so much so that they immediately gave us a FaceTime tour of the whole property since we were out of state. I think it is essential to have such a strong team behind the scenes when planning a destination wedding and Kelly and Bec made that an incredible experience for us from the start with monthly meetings all the way through the big day! I felt like every detail was understood and executed.
I had curated a very specific pinterest board made of dream details I wanted incorporated in my wedding and when Kelly sent me my design board a few months out from the wedding I was in awe of how perfectly she understood my vision. Legitimately every single one of those small details was brought to life. Most venues don’t allow you to DIY things but Kelly and Bec welcomed my moms crafty skills with open arms and it was incredible to see what they were able to do with the creations my mom brought to the venue!
I visited the venue for their 2024 August open house. There is when I saw the serpentine tables for the first time and fell in love with the design and vibe they gave the space! Kelly helped me to plan out a design that incorporated those tables as well as round and farm house to get the most out of the space while maintaining a luxurious elegant atmosphere. This was also the first time I had seen the hanging greenery grids! I absolutely loved them and was obsessed with the way they made an indoor space feel like an outdoor space. It was incredible to have the sense of comfort and security of an indoor space with the beauty of an outdoor one. When I initially decided on these grids Kelly and Angela had said they’d never created one that was quite like my vision before and I decided to trust them with it and boy am I so glad I did!! It was even better than I could have imagined it myself. I gave them my colors and just insisted that I wanted it to feel whimsical and organic.
I think one of the areas of the venues that gets overlooked due to the other amazing spaces being the getting ready suite. We had the most amazing experience being able to spread out, relax, and truly enjoy the moment which was so wonderful! My mom said she will never be able to thank Kelly enough for giving her peace of mind on the morning of her daughter’s wedding. She got to fully soak in the day with me and not worry about anyone or anything else! This space is so beautiful looking over the property and all its beautiful views with a porch swing for photos and special moments! Our hair and makeup team even went as far as saying this was the most functional space they’ve been able to work in.

Emma: During the ceremony MSF truly has it down to a science. They have discreet numbers on the floor for the bridal party to stand on during the ceremony to ensure perfect photos. They have a sprinter bus that keeps the bride/bridal party cool and dry while transporting around the property. In particular one thing I absolutely loved was that MSF has the original dairy farm bell on the property still and when it is the bride’s turn to walk down the aisle they close the farm doors and ring the bell five times before the bride’s entrance making it so unique and special.
The dance floor logo is so unique and fun as well!

Emma: The whole team behind the scenes was just absolutely perfect, G catering, Snyder Entertainment, Curated events rentals, and The Bloom House! After the reception they load up your car with all belongings and gifts to ensure an easy end to the night!
