What was the vision for your wedding?
From the bride, Chelsie: The vision for our wedding was to provide a venue that offered the opportunity for two families from across the country to gather and celebrate the bride and groom. Reunion Stay was more then perfect for our family! The look we desired for a September wedding was rustic-romantic, and it turned out beautifully!
Tell us about how you got engaged!
From the bride, Chelsie: I had a surprise engagement at the top of a snowy mountain in Alaska in the middle of winter at a resort called Alyeska. We rode the gondola to the top of the mountain, above the clouds, for what I thought was just a nice lunch. We set the tripod up to snap some pictures and then he popped the question! It was pretty amazing and breathtaking!
Can you share any special moments or highlights from your wedding day?
From the bride, Chelsie: My favorite moment from our wedding day was our first dance. We danced to “The Way You Look Tonight” by Frank Sinatra. About half way through there was a surprise song “Gangnam Style” It was a complete surprise for me, but I wouldn’t want it any other way. It was the perfect first dance. It showed off his spontaneous personality that I adore so much!
