Nestled in the rolling hills of Wartrace, Tennessee, Beau Cheval provided the perfect setting for a summer wedding straight out of a fairytale. The venue’s charming log cabin, connecting event barn, and scenic back patio overlooking horse pastures created an idyllic atmosphere for a celebration full of personal touches and timeless details. The bride, who also works for Amy & I Designs, envisioned a whimsical wedding adorned with delicate, field-inspired florals. Her vision came to life with a steeple arch and white, cloud-like floral arrangements. The couple exchanged vows on the cabin’s back patio followed by a reception held in the barn. Each table was adorned with candles and bud vases of varying heights, adding an elegant yet cozy ambiance. A standout feature of the design was the repurposed ceremony flowers, which framed the couple’s sweetheart table on a charming arbor. The groom, a diehard soccer fan, was surprised with a Manchester United soccer field Groom’s cake—a gift from his mother. Additionally, to honor his Scottish roots, the groom and his father both wore kilts featuring the Gordon family tartan, adding a special cultural element to the festivities. As a sweet send-off, a family friend baked cookies for guests to take home as favors. Through the eyes of Gambill Photography, enjoy these highlights!

Wartrace, TN
Budget ~ $27,000.00
Guests ~ 140

How did you meet?
Jordan: Robert & I met during our freshman year of high school. We had mutual friends and had lunch together a few times. As friends groups changed we went separate ways and didn’t see each other again. We reconnected on social media and college and have been together ever since.
Tell us about your engagement!
Jordan: Robert proposed at Oakland’s Mansion in Murfreesboro, TN. Robert told me that we were going to be taking family photos with his family. I was skeptical but I did not want to get my hopes up. When I arrived to the Mansion I walked around to the back where Robert was waiting with lights that read “MARRY ME” and rose petals.

What was the vision & theme for your wedding? What details were used to create this vision?
Jordan: I really wanted a summer themed wedding. I wanted white, light, and airy. We got married in the countryside and I wanted my flowers to look like they could have been picked from the field. I saw a bouquet with white cosmos on Pinterest and knew that it was exactly what I wanted for my wedding. I designed everything around white cosmos. My florist, Amy & I Designs, did an incredible job executing my vision.
Where did you splurge? Where did you save?
Jordan: Fresh flowers were really important to me but are definitely a more expensive way to decorate a wedding. Fresh flowers were definitely a splurge item. We saved by using the plastic dinnerware that was included with our caterers. I was apprehensive about using plastic but once the tables were set, it was not noticeable and it saved us on rentals.
What is your best piece of advice for others planning their wedding?
Jordan: Hire vendors that you trust! My wedding was so seamless and stress free because I knew that I was in good hands.

What was your first dance song?
Jordan: Looking at me like that – Vance Joy
Can you share your favorite memory or any special moments from the day?
Jordan: One of my favorite moments is from our ceremony. When Robert and I said “I do” I was so happy I was jumping up and down. I did not realize it until I heard our friends and family laugh at me. It is such a sweet memory that I enjoy watching back and seeing how happy we both were.
Is there anything else you’d like to share?
Jordan: Our day was fantastic thanks to our incredible team of vendors!
