We love Mere Bulles food! What are your specialties for rehearsal dinners?

Jen: The best part about hosting your rehearsal dinner with us is that we’re able to create the menu that works best for YOU! So if you’ve been a fan of our Angus Prime Rib for years but also can’t get enough of our Lemon Artichoke Chicken with Fingerling Potatoes – you can have both! We know what a tough time this has been for couples and we’re in the business of making people happy! We’re trying to be as accommodating and wish-fulfilling as possible and so far, we’ve got a good track record!

What are some great sides that pair well with your most popular rehearsal dinner dishes?

Jen: Our standard sides are our caramelized onion mashed potatoes and haricoverts – which are delicious! I personally love our fingerling potatoes with parmesan and our roasted mixed vegetables, they go with every dish and I love the color it brings to the plate! We also offer rice pilaf which is a beautiful option.

Can you tell us some of the popular drink pairings for rehearsal dinner dishes?

Jen: I always recommend wine for rehearsal dinners – typically 2 reds, and 2 white wines (with one of them being champagne!) with a variety of beer as this will satisfy most guests. We have different tiers of wines to fit whatever price point the couple is comfortable with. If the bride and groom do want to offer cocktails I think capping the cocktail price at $12-$14 is a great way to do that! A cocktail in that price range will cover most anything people will want – martinis, old fashioned, etc. but doesn’t allow anyone to rack up a crazy bill buying really expensive bourbon or a bunch of doubles! A signature cocktail is also a great option!

Do you recommend plated or buffet dinners for rehearsal dinners?

Jen: Due to the CDC guidelines in place as of now, we have been recommending plated dinners so all guests feel safe. We will still do buffets for private groups but we definitely recommend the plated!
