Tori and Ethan celebrated their love with a garden-inspired wedding that left guests in awe. Abi & Co. and Lilian’s Florals, the dream team behind the transformation, turned Gaylord Springs Golf Links into a garden paradise with gorgeous floral arrangements and details covered in a breathtaking watercolor palette of soft pinks, greens and beautiful blues. A custom monogram consisting of all those pretty pigments took center stage, gracing everything from stationery to corn hole boards, welcome signs, seating charts, menus, and cocktail napkins. This thoughtful touch infused a personal and cohesive element, while bridesmaids donning mismatched dresses that added a touch of individuality and charm. Even with all these beautiful elements, it was perhaps Tori’s dad who contributed a unique and memorable layer to the celebration. From the photographer: Tori and Ethan had the most beautiful, garden- inspired wedding this summer. They are a powerhouse couple, both being athletes and Tori being a professional volleyball player. They had a strong vision in mind and Abi & Co. and Lilians florals really brought the vision to life with a stunning ceremony that felt like you were walking through a garden. The reception space was also completely transformed into a garden party. The bride’s father, NFL winning quarterback, Trent Dilfer, gave one of the most beautiful speeches and all of Tori and Ethan’s friends and family in attendance surrounded them with so much love and support.
Tell us about the couple.
From the photographer, Jessica: Such a fun, sweet couple! Tori and Ethan are both passionate and talented athletes. Tori is a professional volleyball player. When we first met with them she was playing for the Italy team and they were living in Italy. Now she plays for the US team in Atlanta. Her father, Trent Dilfer, is a Super Bowl winning quarterback, now a coach. Tori and Ethan are both very dedicated and honoring and both spoke about loyalty and honor from the other. You can tell their love has been tested and only gotten stronger.
What was their theme and what inspired it?
Jessica: The theme was definitely garden party and they transformed the Golf Links into the most beautiful and elegant garden party. The ceremony space felt as If you were walking through a garden with the aisle lined with flowers and a stunning arch with all different colors.
What details were used to create their theme?
Jessica: Their florals had lots of colors and textures and their other colors were blue and white and really lended to the elegant garden party theme.
Can you share any special moments or highlights of their wedding day?
Jessica: Her father gave the most beautiful and heartfelt speech and I don’t think there was a dry eye in the room. The love from their families and friends was tangible and inspiring.
