Tell us about the couple.
Brooke (Photographer): Kelly Walsh and Cam Darcy got engaged in January of 2023 on top of a mountain while skiing in Aspen, CO. Kelly is the owner and founder of Nashbowls Acai, and Cam plays professional hockey for the Florida Everblades.
Can you share any special moments or highlights from the day?
Brooke: We had so much fun at the library! Kelly’s stunning dress from Selfie Leslie had the prettiest bow on the back that touched the floor. It was just fun getting to know their story and to see how much Cam adores Kelly. They are truly a beautiful couple on the inside and out.
Did they have any special requests or unique challenges that you had to work together to overcome?
Brooke: The only challenges we faced were normal ones being in downtown Nashville. There were people walking around everywhere, but it was actually fun because people would call out and say “congratulations!” which was so sweet. With any session in downtown Nashville, there are usually other photographers and couples having their pictures done in the same places as each other. So we all just have to work together to get great images of our own but be selfless enough to let others use the space as well.
