Alexandra and Lucas’s story began in an unassuming way—they were neighbors. Living in the same apartment complex in Brentwood, Tennessee, their paths crossed countless times before romance blossomed. Initially, both were dating other people and maintained a friendly rapport. But when the timing aligned, and both were single, they took a chance. A casual “want to grab drinks?” turned into a love story that neither anticipated but both cherish.

“I always imagined I’d be with someone older, someone who could ground my chaos,” Alexandra shares about Lucas, who is 12 years her senior. Their relationship flourished with the comfort of familiarity and shared values, proving that sometimes love is right next door.

Life for Alexandra has been nothing short of extraordinary. A former Miss Tennessee USA, she shares her pageant crown with her mother, Sharon Harper, making them one of the few mother-daughter duos to hold the title. Beyond pageantry, Alexandra has worn many hats: top sales executive, communications director, freelance website designer, and now, full-time content creator. Her partnerships with brands like Adidas and Caraway Kitchen highlight her versatility and creativity.

Lucas, equally ambitious, thrives in the fast-paced world of global logistics and recently completed a master’s program that took him around the globe. Balancing their hectic schedules, they now call Nashville home and are preparing for a March 2025 wedding.

Their engagement story is as dynamic as their relationship. After designing her own ring and nudging Lucas toward the next step, the couple planned a last-minute trip to Rosemary Beach, Florida—Alexandra’s favorite getaway.

However, their romantic weekend didn’t go as smoothly as planned. Rain poured relentlessly, and Lucas, saving the proposal for the final night, faced a new challenge: the ring was stuck in the room safe. With time ticking and nerves high, the hotel called in a technician who drove two hours to retrieve it. By 9:30 PM, in the midst of pouring rain, Lucas finally popped the question.

“It was pitch black, we were soaked, and he just said, ‘Is this good enough?’” Alexandra recalls with a laugh. “And I said, ‘Yes, for the love of God!’”

True to her Southern roots, Alexandra envisions a “big, beautiful Southern wedding” filled with family, friends, and a touch of glamour. With close friends from her time on Selling the OC in her bridal party, including maid of honor Kayla and bridesmaid Alexandra Rose, the wedding promises to be as memorable as their love story.
