From the photographer, Sunshine of Silver Sparrow: For a couple of movie loving, self-proclaimed dorks with a deep love for all things Disney – a wedding in Nashville at the enchanting Belle Meade Plantation was quite literally a storybook wedding, down to the Beauty & the Beast cake toppers! This fun-loving Colorado wedding couple chose Nashville for their big day as it was a central location for their tight knit, yet spread out, soon to be joined families. With mom of the bride, Judy, handling the decor, sister-in-law Dawn stepping in as wedding planner, and family sprinkled throughout the wedding party – it truly was a family affair! The bride, clad in a Snow White inspired gown she got back home in Colorado at Wedding Treasures, Justin, and the rest of their clan danced the night away at Belle Meade Plantation. The fact that this lovely location was reminiscent of Gone with the Wind was no accident! Every single little detail of this romantic wedding was perfectly tailored to the bride and groom.
From the couple: We chose Nashville as the site for our wedding because we both have huge families that are spread across the country and we wanted to pick somewhere that was in the “middle” for everyone. We chose Belle Meade because it was like something out of Gone with the Wind. The venue was gorgeous and green with the perfect outdoor space to have our ceremony. We both fell in love instantly.
