What was your design inspiration?
Sarah: Our design was inspired by the softness of spring in Nashville. Pale pinks and nudes draw in color after the harsh winter. Once the spring begins to bloom, so does the romance between these two. The soft colors and textures brings diversity and unison in one. We also up-leveled the Southern charm by including a few portraits in front of the gorgeous historic mansion on the property.
Tell us about your attire choices.
Sarah: Olia Zavozina‘s designs are the perfect compliment to the refined and romantic bride. The dress hugged our bride around her waist, giving shape to the dress. The delicate flower design on the train of the dress paired well with the bouquet she held while the groom’s navy tux balanced the soft and romantic with tradition and elegance. His perfectly tailored tux gave confidence to our groom which was only amplified when he saw his bride.
Describe your flowers.
Sarah: The oversized bouquet brought softness and romance to the day. Quicksand roses were the perfect pink/nude that tied together all of our florals. Height was given to the florals with the assistance of pink astilbe and gunni eucalyptus. Large garden roses stole the show peeking out throughout the arrangements. The aroma of the florals complimented the blooming trees on the property.
Describe your cake.
Sarah: Our cake was simple and lovely. We focused on the accents of the flowers to tie it in with the decor of the day. The white frosting lent to a clean, simple look. While the garden roses and ranunculus perfectly framed the floral design on the cake.
Describe the tablescape elements.
Sarah: Our tablescape was filled with vintage accents. The china was layered to create depth among the table. Different hues of nudes, pinks and hints of sage. Gold flatware complimented the gold rimmed drinking goblets while pale pink hues peeked through as well. An ivory chiffon runner held the anchor for the floral design that mimicked the brides bouquet. Antique gold candle stems also gave height to the arrangements.
