Nashville Wedding Planner Plans Her Own Bespoke Music City Wedding | Nashville Real Wedding

What happens when a wedding planner plans her own wedding? This! Yes, Ashley a wedding planner with Chancey Charm Nashville got married to her love Wesley last November at Allenbrooke Farms. The music loving couple opted to fill their day with all kinds of music from a classical string section to a Beatles cover band! Not to mention, Wesley surprised her with a song he and his own band played during the reception. How about that for a Music City wedding? Between the songs, guests enjoyed the fall boho vibes with pumpkins, macrame, and succulents within the event design. Check out all the photos from High Five for Love below!

From the bride, Ashley of Chancey Charm: It was so fun to actually BE the bride this time. We tried to make this match our personalities as much as we could to have a casual, FUN wedding. Our hashtag was #thehappilyeveraftour to show our love for music a bit. We had succulents, macrame wall hangings, flower crowns, and a fun boho vibe throughout the day for decor. For food, we served brunch, along with mules and mimosas to keep our love of brunch alive.

From the bride Ashley on the ceremony + music choices: We had my dear friend and mentor officiate the ceremony, and he used all song lyrics to create the ceremony. We wrote our own vows, which were sweet, sentimental, and comical — because Wes loves a good dad joke. Because we couldn’t just pick one for music, we had a string trio for the ceremony and cocktail hour, boy bands and Taylor Swift filled the air for the first part of the reception, our friend and country artist, AJ Kross dedicated a song to us for our first dance, we had a Beatles cover band play the reception, and then we closed out the night with Wes’ band surprising me with a 20 minute 90’s rap medley that had the whole place dancing.

Bride, Ashley on working with local vendors: We had a beautiful cake, but also a donut wall. We used all local to Nashville vendors, which made it so fun! For the party favor, we gave out bags of coffee — another love of ours. It was roasted by a local coffee roaster, and one of our best friends. We had a photo booth from Nashville Smile Bar as well. During the ceremony, when we were pronounced husband and wife, our bridal party lit smoke bombs to make for a colorful exit! The thing that I love most about this venue was how eclectic and fun the bride and groom’s suites were. The groom’s room was all leather and vintage with cool wall hangings — and smelled INCREDIBLE. The girl’s room was colorful and bright with funky mismatched patterns and chandeliers.

From the bride, Ashley: Overall, it was SUCH a fun day and it was great to be around everyone we loved. How could you go wrong when your day was filled with donuts, brunch food trucks, mimosas, live music, and smoke bombs?
