Ashley + Andy’s Lakeside Dinner for Two | Nashville Real Wedding

Through sickness and in health has such great meaning behind Ashley + Andy’s love story. The couple had originally planned an October wedding, but decided to change their plans when Ashley discovered she had an aggressive form of breast cancer. Their tear-filled day was one to remember as Events by Allison Marie coordinated a private lakeside dinner for them. Hues of red and black and gold graced the table as the couple did an emotional first look in front of the lake backdrop. Photos were displayed among the trees and a lantern-lit path to the lake was such a romantic touch to the end of their dinner. See their photos from Christy Shaterian Photography below and hear the full story from Allison…

From the Planner, Allison: Meet Andy + Ashley. Ashley recently made the incredibly difficult decision to cancel her October wedding after being unexpectedly diagnosed with an aggressive form of Breast Cancer. After hearing of her story Taste of Perfection, a local Nashville caterer, gifted Ashley and Andy with an amazing private, lakefront dinner for two. Kinimi Kitchen made an experience of the entire Saturday. They whisked Ashley off for hair, makeup and a boudoir shoot followed by a walk down wooded memory lane, a breathtaking first look, and a delicious gourmet dinner. As the sun set, the couple exchanged personally written love letters accompanied with I See You candles. The night concluded with a surprise viewing of a tear-jerking video composed of Ashley and Andy’s closest friends and family. The couple loved the experience so much they dubbed it “a wedding for two”.
