Laura + Bernard pulled out all the stops to make their wedding fun and unique! The couple chose a traditional Gatsby/Art Deco theme for their wedding at Sinema Nashville all while putting their own twist on the day. Planner, designer and florist Paige Brown Designs helped them create the scene with black, white and gold elements, and a gorgeously designed table scape set for a king (or Gatsby himself!). Not to mention, Laura's bridal portraits beneath the classy chandeliers are to. die. for! Her elegant hat paired with her gold beaded dress is absolutely stunning and so HER! Tell us about Laura + Bernard!
Paige Brown: Laura and Bernard have the most amazing love story! They met when they were very young and began dating in high school. Bernard asked Laura to marry him prior to leaving for the United States Navy. Since she was still in high school, she declined. 30 years later, they reconnected, fell in love, and had their fairytale wedding. You know what they say: what is meant to be will always be.
Tell us about the vision for their wedding.
Paige Brown: Laura and Bernard wanted a non-traditional wedding with fun and eclectic details. From the venue to the decor details, this wedding was truly stylish and unique in every way imaginable.
What was their theme and what inspired it? What details were used to create the theme?
Paige Brown: The couple opted for the theme of “Art Deco: 30 Years In The Making”. The Gatsby-inspired look with a modern twist gave way to gold, black, and white details throughout the event space.
