Beautiful Burgundy Hilton Downtown Nashville Fall Wedding

A rich color palette of burgundy, rose gold, and navy hues came together in perfect fall fashion for Janean and Trey’s Hilton Downtown Nashville Wedding. The two looked stunning with Janean in an embroidered lace gown and Trey in a sleek modern blue tuxedo jacket. The day was filled with love and the sweetest moments including the couples first look and Janean’s first look with her dad. As elegant as it is modern, prepare to be wow’d by these photos by Sharon Theresa Wheaton!

Tell us about your engagement!

From the couple: Engaged on April 27th 2018 at Centennial Sportsplex – Trey and Janean went to ice skate where Janean had first fallen in love with ice skating and had spent the majority of her childhood training to compete in ice skating competitions. Trey and Janean were going to celebrate Janean finishing her first year of law school and Trey starting a new job, but then there was the engagement!

What was the vision for your wedding?

Janean: Classic and Romantic – I knew I wanted a fall wedding with rich colors (rose gold, navy, burgundy, and mauve)

Can you share any special moments or highlights from your wedding day?

Janean: First looks with my then fiance and my dad, walking down the aisle to the string quartet, the duo about brought me to tears and the reception music and food was amazing (Betty Ellen West at Hilton did a wonderful job helping to coordinate)! The grooms cake and wedding cake were to die for. Also, having an amazing photographer who is as meticulous as I am was outstanding! Overall, all our vendors were absolutely amazing to work with and took such care to listen and help deliver our vision.

What are some tips you can share with other brides planning their weddings?

Janean: Definitely sign up with The Knot and use the checklist – make your own as well and include all vendor names and contact information. If planning wedding events in downtown Nashville, make sure to check ALL teams home schedule (we checked the football schedule because that’s what we cared most about, but there was a Predators home game that night which made for slow moving traffic). Have a great group of bridesmaids and mother of the bride around to help with the details and enjoy every moment!

Is there anything else you’d like to share about your wedding?

Janean: I’d do it all over again in a heartbeat!

We can feel the romance through every part of this day and love every second of it! Thanks so much to Sharon Wheaton Photography and to Janean and Trey for letting us so off their perfect fall wedding at The Hilton Downtown Nashville.
