Elegant Riverwood Mansion Wedding

Romance blossomed between Huyen and Kasin during their time in Nashville as they attended PA school. Upon their engagement, the two opted to say their vows to one another in the city they fell in love. Riverwood Mansion set the scene for their celebration with neutral tones, romantic elements, and elegant details added to the mix. These serene images captured by Maria Gloer Photography truly tell the story of this timeless wedding day. Here are some highlights that we love!

From the photographer: Huyen and Kasin met in PA school in Nashville. Years later they moved back to Washington, but their hearts belonged to Nashville. So when they got engaged, they decided this city meant so much that they wanted to celebrate their love here. They chose the gorgeous Riverwood Mansion as their venue as it reflected their romantic style so well.

As soon as I arrived, Huyen gave all the pretty details to photograph with their invitation suite. Everything was carefully picked out and I love it when brides also think of the little things and incorporate family mementos in their photos.

From the photographer: The couple chose to keep the decor in a very neutral, elegant and classic color palette, with hints of beige, champagne, ivory, and touches of gold and blush. The centerpieces held gorgeous tall floral arrangements, featuring white and blush roses, and beautiful greenery. Huyen’s gown was a stunning Stella York, and Kasin wore Jos. A Bank. Bridesmaids dresses were Vera Wang.

From the photographer: It was a hot, humid summer day with a chance of rain, so Huyen and Kasin made the wise decision of moving the ceremony inside the mansion. I had teary eyes almost during the entire ceremony, watching their family and friends celebrating and cheering for their love, altogether in one room was extremely touching. But my favorite time of the day, was right after the new Mr and Mrs had their first dances with each other, Huyen and her dad danced alongside Kasin and his mom. Towards the middle of the song, all four started dancing together, smiling, crying, celebrating, and it was such a perfect and seamless way for a new family to blend together. I cried all the happy tears!

There’s nothing better than classic details and a sweet romance! Huge thanks to Maria Gloer Photography for sharing this stunning Riverwood Mansion wedding with us!
