Weddings should be memorable… but I'm not sure if many weddings can top being as memorable as a Lord of the Rings themed wedding! Alyssa + Sean's wedding at Green Door Gourmet had such a fun twist – everything screamed Lord of the Rings! From Alyssa's dad dressing as Gandolf to shooting bows and arrows, it was as if the fairytale wedding happened in the next installation of the Lord of the Rings series. Alyssa's custom brocade gown by Karen Hendrix with adorable gold Converse sneakers was a one of a kind look. The couple can definitely say that the wedding was uniquely them! From the photographer, Laura Dee: So this one.This one I've been really excited about since I first heard about all the fabulousness that was going to take place at this wedding. Take Nashville, a beautiful couple, a country farm, two wonderful families and Lord of The Rings. Mix them all together and you get major epicness rolled into a ball of fun. The exquisite Middle Earth details, the unique gown designed by Alyssa herself, her brother Josh officiating the ceremony dressed as Elrond, adorable Hobbits and little elves, delicious food, and a ceremony filled with heart and love. Also, dad was dressed as Gandalf…I mean, that's just rad!? This wedding was pretty close to Tolkien-esque perfection, my inner geek-y heart was full. Alyssa and Sean. If the love your friends and family shared with y'all this past weekend was any indication of how your lives together will be, then you're all set. The room was full of smiles, laughter and elation.
