Extra, extra, read all about it – White Ink Calligraphy has a service and we’re going to shout it! That’s right y’all. This popular Nashville wedding vendor has expanded its offerings, now diving into print services in addition to their iconic calligraphy. While not exclusive to one another, providing both of these services under one roof aims at keeping the design process easy. Claire is sharing more insight about the new wedding invitations suites from White Ink Calligraphy with us below. Keep on reading to see what she has to say!

Tell us all about the new invitation services you’re offering!

Claire: White Ink is excited to announce the roll out of our printing services. We are not just offering invitations, but we are offering printed items from the Save the Dates to your printed day of details. Including, all of the traditional pieces, and the new and trendy pieces.

Tell us more about why you decided to add invitation services in addition to your calligraphy in 2022!

Claire: We started in 2020 during the pandemic helping our brides with ‘Change of Plans’ cards when they were in a pinch. We saw our sweet clients in full on panic mode and we jumped in to do what we could in an unprecedented situation. Since the start of White Ink, we’ve been continuously asked if we could provide print services and design to match envelope calligraphy with the invitation. During the pandemic we pivoted to start offering the services all under one roof to alleviate the stress of our brides having to work with multiple vendors; all while allowing us more control over the calligraphy artwork, which is what White Ink is founded on.

How involved can White Ink Calligraphy be in the invitation process?

Claire: We start working with our couples at the beginning of the planning process or they can come in at the end of their invitation process just for envelope calligraphy. If a bride is working with another stationer or DIY’ing their invitations, Claire can still offer calligraphy services as needed. Our stationery services and Claire’s calligraphy services are not exclusive to one another. Claire still works with multiple stationers throughout the country providing calligraphy services, as well as clients who reach out to White Ink directly just for calligraphy.

Take us through the process of ordering invitations through White Ink Calligraphy!

Claire: We try to make our process as simple as possible. Everything we do is through either virtual consultation or emails. Clients are given a portal access where they can view all of their proofs, timelines, contracts, invoices, etc. We ask that all clients fill out a quote form, which is linked on our website and social media links. From this we will reach out to schedule a design consultation. From this meeting we go over budget, ideas, and collect samples to drop in the mail to our clients. After this meeting a proposal is sent over and if the client wants to move forward, we send all of the etiquette information we need to get the design process started. We go back-and-forth between revisions in the proof rounds until the design is perfect and everyone loves the finished proof. Don’t worry, we also assist our brides with navigating the post office, addressing ettiquite questions, hand cancelling those beautiful envelopes, ordering postage, and everything in between. Once the invitations hit the mail, it’s time to start chatting about those day of details, whether its hand lettered signage or printed materials. We are here to help carry forward those design elements we created in your custom invitation suite through to your big day.

What do the invitations include?

Claire: All of her invitations are completely custom. Typical invitations include an invitation, an RSVP or reply card, and additional details card with hotel accommodations, a website, etc. We see couples have a lot of fun in the design process with their wedding invitations and add embellishments such as custom calligraphy, maps, monograms, sketches, wax seals, ribbons, envelope liners, handmade paper, and custom artwork.

Is there anything else you’d like to add about your new wedding invitation services?

Claire: We are just so over the moon excited about the launch of the service. It is something that we’ve been offering since 2020, however we wanted to provide a true product launch and yell it the world that we are HERE FOR INVITATIONS! So, we are super excited to share the news with the Nashville Bride Guide and all of its readers. We are still here for custom calligraphy projects that do not involve our printed side of the business however, we are super excited to be offering this new service for our brides and planners.

Congrats, Claire! We are so excited for this. We can’t wait to see all the new wedding invitation suites from White Ink Calligraphy!
