Tell us all about the new dress styles you have in stock at Bella Bridesmaids!

Melanie: New styles are hitting all the fashion marks this season… from chic and glamorous to soft and romantic. Several designers brought in new satin and satin like fabrics. They photograph beautifully! Also, ruffles and soft cowl drape necklines are lining up with fashion trends.

Is there a certain designer’s line that you are loving this season?

Melanie: Where to begin? Amsale fluid satin is blowing us away! Hayley Paige metallic is stunning. We’re literally gushing over Joanna August satin. Jenny Yoo is wowing us with satin back crepe, velvet, burn out fabrics, new prints and specialty sparkle fabrics. We’re excited to have extended colors from Theia and Dessy. WToo has always done well with bobinnett, but they have some great new chiffon styles. Watters luscios charmeuse is breathtaking. And we are over the moon to announce that we are bringing in a new designer, Marchesa Notte, this spring! I could go on and on! With so many designers under one roof, we get to see it all!

What type of silhouettes are most popular in the new dresses?

Melanie: We have brides who are here for the clean lines: simple and more structured. They choose simple bodices with little pleating and a-line or straight skirts. Satin and crepes really pop in these designs, because the beautiful fabric speaks for itself. For the romantic or boho bride, ruffle accents are hitting the mark, both at the neckline and down on the front. Rather than a full circle skirt, some brides are opting for a modified full skirt with a slit for movement, or a flattering wrap style. The soft drape neckline was really strong at October market, and it’s working well on many different body types.

Are there any great new colors you’re seeing in these new dresses?

Melanie: Champagne and blush remain strong. Playing off of those, we have some gorgeous new rose colors, from mauve to cinnamon rose. A bride can have her vision of blush, but get a more saturated color that will be complementary to skin tones. Blues are beautiful from powdery to dusty to deep navy. And gorgeous greens are popping up, in shades of mint, sage and hunter. Copper is a new fun color to incorporate! We have some new shiny copper shades, as well as rust and burnt orange.

Tell us the overall feel of the trends you’re seeing in these dresses!

Melanie: Sophisticated and fashion forward. Our selection is not necessarily your typical bridesmaid’s dress. They’re dresses you want to wear, not just wear it to please your friend who’s a bride. 馃檪 We definitely heard at market that designers are listening and trying to give customers what they want. Several of our designers reach out to us for feedback as they’re creating their new lines. It’s rewarding to see that they pay attention by providing new fabrics and colors, wider straps, and styles for a variety of body types.

How can someone make an appointment to come try the dresses on?

Melanie: We’re very available! Go to www.bellabridesmaids.com to request. Or email us directly at nashville@bellabridesmaids.com. We also love a phone call: 615-373-8004.

Is there anything else you’d like to share about all of your new dresses!

Melanie: With so many fabrics and color choices, looking for bridesmaids dresses can seem overwhelming. It’s more important than ever to see them and touch them in person. Digital images can be very helpful, but seeing it in person without filters can be the key for making a good decision. Whether you’re a bride who’s choosing one dress for everyone in your party, or you are open to every maid making her own choice, we’re here to help put it all together to complete your vision.
