Tell us about Wellness Bliss Box + how long you’ve been in business.
Jyoti: I officially launched Wellness Bliss Box in December 2021. My business idea is to deliver a self-care-focused gift box curated with eco-friendly, natural, and cruelty-free products—hydrating lip and face masks, eye masks, hydrating lip mask, hand-poured scented candles, these amazing chocolate bars from Haiti with 50% cocoa, etc—so that women can take care of themselves and create a wellness ritual in the comfort of their own home. I source products only from women-owned and small businesses because I want Wellness Bliss Box to be a platform that provides opportunities for everyone to succeed and helps reweave our social fabric to create a more equitable society. We also support and donate 15% of our profit to CARE.org, whose mission is to save lives, defeat poverty, and achieve social justice around the globe.
How did you get started in weddings?
Jyoti: Launching Wellness Bliss Box has made me see that self-care is as much a celebration of oneself as anything else. Wedding planning is obviously a very challenging and stressful process in which time is of the essence. Wellness Bliss Box, with our specialty in creating customized gift boxes, is the perfect solution that can help brides and their family create the perfect gift box that will leave a lasting impression on their guests while allowing them to focus on what is truly important to them, their wedding day. I wanted to make it easier for brides to plan their weddings and make them feel like an amazing host which is what encouraged me to expand into offering personalized gift boxes for bridesmaids proposals, bridal showers, and weddings.

What are your strengths compared to others in your category?
Jyoti: Wellness Bliss Box is a gift box that is filled with high end products from amazing small businesses and woman-owned businesses that is unique and will leave a lasting impression and leave your guests feeling like you are the best host. I do very extensive research in vetting all the products that go into my box to ensure that they are of the highest quality and only include those that would excite me if I were to receive them from my friends or family. We also work with your wedding planners to understand your preferences so we can create a personalized custom gift box that you’ll absolutely love. Jyoti: There are so many amazing products in our boxes.
