Tell us about your company + how long you’ve been in business.
Rebecca: My company is Rebecca Musayev Photography and I’ve been in business for almost 8 years now! I shoot weddings and engagements. My style is a poised mix of Southern tradition and modern-day elegance.
How did you get started in weddings?
Rebecca: I’ve always loved photography since I was a little girl. My dad actually got me into photography. I started with his film camera and years later his digital cameras. I always loved photography as a hobby and took photo classes throughout high school and college. I never thought it would turn into a full-time business.
What’s the philosophy behind your company?
Rebecca: A tailored experience to tell your story. I am a mother and a wife and those titles bring deep inspiration into my life. I have been documenting weddings for over half a decade, with each one being more unique than the last. Through my faith, I believe there is such a strong bond amongst us as God created us for connection. The relationship with my couples paired with the magnifying experience I tailor for them, creates tangible imagery of their most cherished moments. It’s those bonds that make days like your wedding day meaningful, joyful, and enlightening.
What are your strengths compared to others in your category?
Rebecca: A tailored experience as well as my in-depth experience in the industry. I work closely with my couples to make sure their wedding day as a whole is as seamless as possible. I am also extremely organized and I truly believe that creates a “no detail left behind” day.
What attracts couples to your business?
Rebecca: I attract a luxury clientele. My clients tend to be older (not right out of college), career established, refined, and traditional.
What is the most innovative new product, service, style or other aspect of your industry that brides and grooms might appreciate?
Rebecca: Access to social media and Pinterest to dream big for their weddings. I believe wedding planners are also an absolute MUST.
