From the photographer, Rebecca Denton: Lynnsay and Michael live in Washington state, but they flew to Nashville (where they first met) for an elegant, intimate backyard destination wedding in Music City. Lynnsay is a lover of antiques and bohemian elegance, and she was inspired by her dream wedding gown, a French lace boho-inspired dress from BHLDN (made by Kite & Butterfly). Everything about their celebration was personal, elegant and joyful! They wrote their own non-traditional vows, and Lynnsay put together many of the reception details herself by with beautiful boho touches, including lots of greenery and flowers, lavender topiaries, brass candlesticks (gathered over several months from antique shops and thrift stores), and white taper candles. The bride’s gorgeous French lace gown, vintage 1920s engagement ring, flower crown, and lush, greenery-filled bouquet tied it all together. Lynnsay's best friend became ordained and licensed as an officiant so she could perform the marriage ceremony. Another personal touch: Lynnsay’s bouquet included a wrap with a framed photograph of her father, who died when she was 17. Lynnsay also made small soy candles scented with essential oils as favors for the guests!
