Barn wedding style has become so glamorous + sophisticated in the past few years, which is why I'm so excited to share Julie + Zach's wedding with you today! With the help of their designer and planner Laurie D'Anne Events, Julie + Zach had a glorious luxury barn wedding in the Nashville, TN area. Saddle Woods Farm was the perfect backdrop for the couple's day from their delicately placed vintage inspired goblets all the way up to their custom draping designs! Scanning the room, flowers bloomed at every angle with touches of carefully crafted lace throughout their decor. The scene provided an upgraded vintage inspired look! Check out all of the photos by Nyk and Cali Photography along with all the details from Laurie below!

Tell us about the couple's vision for their wedding!
Laurie: The vision was to have a party that was fun and enjoyable for all that were attending. Julie loved Saddle Wood Farms because it's location and the beautiful surroundings. Julie has such a sweet heart. She is a school teacher and loves spending time with her “kids” . That came through in the things that she liked. She wanted the feel to be soft and romantic, with soft lighting and beautiful florals.
What was their theme and what inspired it?
Laurie: Julie and her mother, Amy had attended the open house that we designed for Saddle Wood Farms and fell in love with draping, the food and ambiance. She new that the venue was the perfect place for the wedding and Laurie D'Anne Events was the one to help bring that vision to reality
What details were used to create their theme?
Laurie: Like I had mentioned that Julie fell in love with the draping that we designed for the open house. We wanted to keep that as the main focal point, but as with all designers, we don't want to duplicate a design you have done before so we needed to do something a little different. I decided that adding a run of taupe fabric would give the room some dimension, make it richer and have more depth. Because Julie's is a teacher, she had quite a few little people attending. We used kids farm tables to create a 20 ft. table for the little people with coloring books, and a fun meal!
Can you share any special moments or highlights of their wedding day?
Laurie: For me the highlight of every event is when it all comes together, and I get to see the face of the person that I have designed the event for. That makes it all worth it! I loved the smile on Julie and Zach's faces! Every time I looked at them, they were smiling! They had a great time and got to enjoy being a guest at their own wedding.
Did they have any special requests or unique challenges that you had to work together to overcome?
Laurie: No. Everything went off without a hitch. Even the things that would be out of your control turned our perfect. I had the privilege of spending a lot of time with the Mother of the Bride, Amy Brackin. She was wonderful, and very talented in her own right. We had a wonderful time working together planning Julie's wedding. It was so great to see both of Julie's parents glowing over their little girl getting married.
