When two nurses meet at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, you just know their love story is going to be something special—and for Joslin and Patrick, their wedding day was no exception. Filled with sunshine-inspired details (yes, even in November!), this celebration blended meaningful moments, budget-savvy choices, and a whole lot of heart. With vibrant florals brought to life by The Floral Pop, a midweek celebration that made the day uniquely theirs, and intentional moments like a private dinner and last dance, Joslin and Patrick’s wedding is proof that the best celebrations are the ones that feel personal, joyful, and completely you.

How did you guys meet?
Joslin: Working together as nurses at Vanderbilt!
What details were used to create your theme?
Joslin: Sunflowers are my FAVORITE flower and even in November, Maegan of The Floral Pop made it happen!

Where did you splurge? Where did you save/DIY?
Joslin: Saved a bunch of money by having a middle-of-the-week wedding! We know this doesn’t work for everyone, but for us having our wedding on a Wednesday saved money on the venue!
What words of advice do you have for couples in the midst of their planning?
Joslin: Take a breath! It’s amazing how it all comes together. Also, enjoy your time as an engaged couple! It’s an exciting adventure. HIGHLY recommend a private dinner & private last dance! Soak up those moments together with no one else around!
Can you share any special moments or highlights from your wedding day?
Joslin: Sweetest moments included dancing with our nieces and nephew, the “thank you” gifts we gave our parents/being there when they were opened, and opening our wedding gifts to each other during our private dinner.

Huge thank you to Joslin, Patrick and Maegan from The Floral Pop for sharing this gorgeous celebration with us!
